When the transceiver turns on, it logs on to the 2G, 3G, or 4G mobile network using the SIM card's Internet access, or it connects to a Wi-Fi hotspot or a nearby router. Once you have internet connection, the device logs on to a server located in Hungary (unlike some systems, eChat PoC radios do not use servers operated in China or in countries outside of the EU).
