Description
Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP – C4FM Digital / FM Analog V/UHF Dual-Band Mobile Transceiver (55 W / 50 W)
The Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP is a next-generation dual-band mobile transceiver that combines C4FM digital technology with traditional FM analog communication in one high-performance device. Compact yet robust, this transceiver is the ideal choice for users seeking reliable and crystal-clear communication in any environment.
The radio includes all advanced functions of the Yaesu FTM-310DE, enhanced with an integrated ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processing) system that takes audio processing and noise reduction to the next level.
Key Features of the Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP Transceiver:
True Dual-Band Operation
Thanks to its two independent receivers, the Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP can monitor two different bands simultaneously (V/U, V/V, or U/U combinations), including C4FM/C4FM dual receive. Output power: VHF – 55 W, UHF – 50 W, with selectable 25 W and 5 W levels.
Excellent Cooling and Stable Transmission Power
Yaesu’s proprietary FACC (Funnel Air Convection Conductor) heatsink system ensures efficient heat dissipation, allowing the transceiver to maintain stable high-power performance for extended periods.
AESS + ASP Digital Audio Processing – Outstanding Sound Quality
The integrated AESS (Acoustic Enhanced Speaker System) and ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processing) work together to deliver exceptional audio clarity. The AESS system uses two 3 W speakers – one in the control head and one in the main unit – providing a total of 6 W audio output. The ASP digital signal processing automatically optimizes frequency response, filters out noise, and enhances voice clarity, ensuring clean and intelligible communication even under weak signal conditions.
Large Dot-Matrix Display
The modern, high-resolution dot-matrix display is easy to read and clearly presents all operating information — even while driving.
Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP Advanced Features for Maximum Performance:
Super-DX and ASP Automatic Sensitivity Enhancement
The Super-DX function boosts receiver sensitivity in both digital and analog modes. With ASP AUTO/MANUAL mode, the ASP system automatically activates under weak signal conditions or can be manually enabled via the [S-DX] key. This ensures the radio always delivers the best possible reception quality.
PMG (Primary Memory Group)
Up to five VFO or memory channels can be assigned to the PMG for real-time activity monitoring. In AUTO mode, the transceiver automatically switches to the active channel, while in MANUAL mode, the operator can choose which frequency to monitor or transmit on.
MAG (Memory Auto Grouping)
The transceiver automatically groups memory channels by band, simplifying management of frequently used frequencies. The “My Group (M-GRP)” function allows creation of customized channel groups for personal organization.
CFL (Customized Function List)
Out of 127 available menu functions, up to nine frequently used functions can be registered for quick access.
Spectrum Scope Mode
The real-time band scope can display up to 47 channels of activity. With the center marker, users can quickly tune to any desired frequency with a single operation.
Yaesu FTM-310DE-ASP Digital Communication and Networking Capabilities:
AMS – Automatic Mode Selection
AMS intelligently detects whether the incoming signal is C4FM digital or FM analog, and automatically switches to the appropriate mode.
DG-ID and GM (Group Monitor)
Using a two-digit DG-ID code, users can easily establish closed communication groups. The GM (Group Monitor) feature automatically tracks which stations are active within range.
Built-in GPS and APRS Support
A high-sensitivity 66-channel GPS receiver provides accurate positioning, while 1200/9600 bps APRS® data transmission allows for position sharing and message exchange.
WiRES-X Compatibility
Fully compatible with Yaesu’s WiRES-X internet linking system, the FTM-310DE-ASP can easily connect to digital nodes and repeaters worldwide.
Wide Receive Coverage
Covers 108 MHz–550 MHz on both receivers, providing flexible use across a wide range of applications.
