ANIPOC: The cluster communication system of the future
Modern working environments demand fast, reliable and secure communication - and the practical challenges in relation are presented everyday. Whether we are working with security services, event organizers, or logistics and industrial partners, traditional URH/PMR systems are often no longer able to keep up with today's demands. Limited range, cumbersome operation - they no longer fit into a fast-paced, interconnected world.
That's why we are pleased to offer a modern solution in the form of PoC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) systems. Simply put, this internet-based transceiver technology means that the familiar ‘push to talk’ radio principle now works over a mobile network (3G/4G/5G) or even Wi-Fi - so no more range limits, no more ‘no signal’. One push of a button and wherever team menbers are - across the country or even abroad - they can hear each other instantly.
Why do we like to recommend POC systems to our customers?
No need for a radio licence or repeater - a huge convenience in itself, especially when you need to get up and running quickly.
Group and private calls are possible - so you can communicate effectively with the whole team at once, or even just one person if you need to.
GPS-based location, multimedia messages, SOS button, man-down function - these safety features not only increase efficiency, but can also save lives.
It can be used on a smartphone or even on rugged, dedicated PoC devices - everyone can choose the one that best suits their working environment.
Our experience shows that web-based paging systems work great where fast, flexible and reliable communication is essential. That's why we decided to add eChat to the Anico portfolio around 2020, and it has since proven itself in a number of projects.
Over time, however, we realised - and many of our partners confirmed this - that while eChat provides a good foundation, it is not flexible enough for today's user needs. We needed more and more features, services and customised solutions that this system could no longer provide.
So, in early 2024, the idea of creating something of our own was born - a system that we would dream up, from the first button to the last pixel. After nearly a year of design, development and testing, we proudly unveiled our latest PoC system, which not only takes us to the next level technically, but also gets its own brand: the ANIPOC brand.
What is ANIPOC?
ANIPOC is Anico Kft.’s proprietary web-based transceiver system, created with the aim of offering our customers a truly state-of-the-art, platform-independent and versatile solution. A solution that not only replaces the old URH/PMR systems, but also goes far beyond them in terms of flexibility, functionality and user experience.
ANIPOC is capable of voice, video and location sharing, includes key security features (such as SOS alarms or man-down alerts) and can be used simultaneously on professional PoC devices and smartphone apps - be it Android or iOS.
Key features and benefits of ANIPOC
Unlimited range
No more geographical limitations. ANIPOC does not require a dedicated radio infrastructure to operate - whether you are in Budapest, Debrecen or even London, you can use the same system for instant communication over a stable internet connection.
Device Compatibility
ANIPOC is available for Android and iOS and supports over 1000 different devices - transceivers, body cameras, tablets, smartphones. Everyone can find the right hardware for their needs.
Enhanced voice communication
Group or private calling, channel switching, SOS and man-down alarms, and priority communication are all standard features in ANIPOC, enabling rapid situation assessment and response.
Multimedia capabilities
You can do more than just talk: you can also send pictures, videos and audio files within the system. And with GPS-based location sharing, the dispatcher can see where team members are in real time.
High level of security
Data traffic is encrypted and the system is optimised for professional use, for example by security or authorities. With us, data security is not an extra, it's a standard.
Dispatching and patrol software
ANIPOC includes advanced admin and dispatching interfaces to manage, log and retrieve communications. Anyone who has tried to manage dozens of users during a single event knows how helpful this is.
Compatible devices - how you can use ANIPOC
One of the biggest advantages of ANIPOC is that it supports a wide range of devices from different manufacturers - so everyone can find the best one for the job, or if you already have POC transceivers you can test how ANIPOC works on them without necessarily buying new ones.
Portable handheld transmitters
These compact, handheld PoC transmitters guarantee uninterrupted communication over the mobile network, with virtually unlimited range. A true reliable companion for those working in the field.
Smartphones and tablets
No need to carry a separate device! ANIPOC runs on both iOS and Android devices, so users can connect seamlessly from their own phone or tablet.
In-vehicle transceivers
If you're controlling your team from a vehicle, these devices are perfect: a large PTT button, a microphone and a convenient interface, plus the dispatcher can track the vehicle's position in real time.
Body cameras Transmitting live video and soundis a big advantage at festivals and events, for example. This allows the dispatcher to see and hear what's happening and react quickly to situations.
Hybrid PoC-DMR transceivers
This special device combines both worlds: traditional radio frequency and internet-based communication, ensuring a continuous, stable connection even in challenging environments.
Drones
You can also integrate the ANIPOC system on drones to provide aerial surveillance, rapid area reconnaissance and efficient data sharing with your dispatch centre.
Software backend: dispatch and patrol software
Behind the ANIPOC system is not only a modern communication technology, but also a well-constructed software background that makes everyday use even more efficient and transparent. These additional software tools help customers not only to use but also to understand what is happening within their system - in real time and in a structured way.
One of the most important of these add-ons is the dispatching software, which acts as a kind of central control room: from here, all communications, movements and events that take place in the ANIPOC system can be controlled, tracked and documented.
The ANIPOC dispatching programme is one of the system's greatest strengths. It is a central control panel where dispatchers have full control over the communication process - simply, transparently and in real time.
This integrated platform combines voice calls, multimedia messaging (text, image, video), GPS-based location and even video - so all important information can be managed in one place.
Dispatchers can, for example:
make direct voice calls to one or more users,
change channels or disconnect active calls,
temporarily disable or re-enable users,
send messages in various formats (text, image, video, GPS position).
These features not only increase efficiency, they also add real safety value - whether for day-to-day operations or for emergency response.
Another very useful addition to the dispatching software is the patrol software
In the world of security engineering, precision is key. You need to know who is where and when, and it doesn't hurt to have it documented. That's why we've enhanced the ANIPOC system with a dedicated patrol module function, giving you even tighter control and visibility of day-to-day operations.
This feature is available by activating your patrol licence and works directly within the ANIPOC PTT app - no need for a separate app or device if you already use an NFC-enabled device.
How does it work?
Administrators can pre-set patrol routes, times and sequences so that patrols can be accurately documented. The guard confirms his presence at the specified points with an NFC touch - if a point is missed, the system automatically alerts and the dispatcher is notified.
All this is complemented:
A reminder function to make sure nothing is missed.
Real-time status and event reports - instant contact with dispatch in the event of an emergency.
Full visibility: historical calls, schedules, patrol points and daily tasks all in one place, with a look-back function.
Where does it really come in handy?
This module is almost indispensable for security service providers, public area surveillance, operators of university campuses or industrial sites, large property management units.
In all places where the question “have you looked around?” doesn't just need a shrug, but a real, traceable answer.
Important to know: the patrol feature only works with NFC-enabled transceivers or Android devices, but can easily be added to any existing ANIPOC subscription.
Who and for what kind of work is ANIPOC recommended?
We recommend ANIPOC for organisations where day-to-day operations simply don't work without fast, flexible and reliable group communication. Whether it's a single site or a national presence, ANIPOC offers robust connectivity, real-time feedback and transparent management - all within a single platform.
It is particularly well established in the following industries:
