After the International Eucharistic Congress, Gergő Kriszbacher, Deputy Commander of the Scouts-IEC contingent, was interviewed by Cserkész Magazin (Scouting Magazine) about what made the communication between the scouts at the event so smooth.

Motorola's recently debuted CLR446 radio - which can be used without a frequency license - is in the industrial category, but it's not here to take over the arena of rugged industrial radios. Instead, it is  intended for business, office, hotel and other uses where you don't need a hefty, shock and everything-proof radio, just easy-to-use features.

In many sectors, e.g. for companies in the security guarding and event security business, there is no question that reliable, relatively long-range transceivers are the best choice for efficient work management. In which case - in larger factories, changing work locations, etc. - which transceiver system would be ideal?

PoC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) technology has long been available on the two way radio market, but it was the recent expansion of 4G cellular coverage and modern, „smart” transceivers with PTT buttons that put PoC into the focus of interest.

This radio appeared in the Wouxun product lineup early 2019, in Hungary however it only had its debut in March 2020.
With my experience gathered over the years, I am actually happy that this time I am not reviewing a brand new device. Why? Usually, when new devices are put to market, despite all the extensive testing, the firmware always has some room for polishing. A one year old radio on the other hand usually has a firmware version already updated and bugfixed, and you can do without hunting for patches, firmware update or cope with menus full of irritating small bugs. I believe, this one year has been worth the wait.
